(Junior) Payroll & HR Administrator (m/f/d) - Temporary Contract

The role in a nutshell:

In this role you will provide payroll and HR administrative support ensuring a professional and efficient HR service to all stakeholders. You need to have a passion for change as we are always looking at ways we can improve our processes and procedures across the HR function. You will collaborate with the wider HR team and manage key stakeholders relationships in order to proactively plan service delivery.

This role is a temporary placement for 6 months with high potential to be extended.

What you'll be doing:

  • Advise managers and employees on HR, labor law and payroll topics arising throughout the full employee lifecycle
  • Preparation and reconciliation of the monthly payroll. Respond promptly to all questions from the external payroll-processing agency
  • Manage and maintain the time tracking system
  • Create and maintain employee records on the HR Management System (HRMS) and any other filing systems as required
  • Prepare contracts of employment and associated paperwork for new hires, transfers and leavers ensuring all documents are distributed in a timely manner to the relevant parties
  • Ensure that accurate filing systems are in place and that documents are filed promptly and accurately
  • Manage the candidate relocation as well as all immigration requirements for new employees if required

What we need from you:

  • Proven knowledge of Payroll (WIFI Certificate or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of Austrian labor law is a plus
  • Relevant experience of working within a busy, fast paced HR function is a plus
  • Very good use of Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Experience and understanding of HR policies and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with a high level of accuracy
  • Flexible and able to adapt and reprioritize as necessary
  • Team player with hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in German and English
