SW Development Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Software development, implementation and testing of embedded GNSS Onboard-Unit Software and related tools
• Develop clean, elegant, well-commented and reusable code which is easy to maintain and extend.
• Work closely with our product and design teams and translate customer experiences and product features into capabilities on our platforms

Your Profile

• Masters/PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, software engineering, or similar
• At least 3 years of professional experience with embedded SW development for time critical applications
• Domain knowledge of GNSS and DSRC technology is beneficial
• Application interface knowhow for communication protocols, especially Bluetooth, 3G/4G, LWM2M is a plus
• Expert skills in C++ and IBM Rational Rhapsody, additional experience in C#, Python is a plus
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins and SVN is a plus
• Experience in writing testable code, automated unit tests, and automated test environments
• Proactive mindset, team player and good communication skills
• Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
• Good oral and written skills in English, German is plus
