THE POSITION

We are looking for a Drug Metabolism Scientist joining our enthusiastic and diverse team of ADME/DMPK colleagues. The focus is the identification and progression of new therapeutic molecules, especially in the field of KRAS driven cancers. Our strength is pushing the science even outside of our personal responsibility with a team and striving for progression with the intrapreneurship and creativity of each individual in our organization. The position would be available immediately.
This is a fixed term contract for 3 years with option for extension.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Identification of drug metabolites and metabolic pathways for new drug candidates
• Integrate results from drug metabolism studies to other preclinical and clinical DMPK data to derive optimization strategies for project teams
• Identify research compounds with the potential to show the desired clinical effects in collaboration with the research team
• Establish new methods to advance research projects and drive the preclinical DMPK science

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutics
• Postdoc experience in the field of drug metabolism would be ideal
• Strong experience in the field of drug metabolite identification, experience in identification of small molecule endogenous metabolites is also welcome
• Solid background in metabolite identification with HPLC-MS
• Strong communication and leadership skills

We offer an attractive salary package in line with your qualification, experience and individual competencies. The base pay is composed of a market oriented excess payment and the respective amount according to the Austrian collective agreement (at least EUR 60,000 gross per year/full-time).
