IT Manager Operations (m/f/d)

Role Summary

For our Cosma Europe we are looking for an IT Manager Operations [m/f/d] for topics of Industry 4.0, Big Data as well as for the area of Manufacturing IT as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• In this role, exciting tasks are waiting for you in a dynamic, international team, where you will be responsible for the independent implementation of production-related IT projects
• Coordination with stakeholders at Cosma International and Magna Europe level
• Conceptual development and implementation of Industry 4.0 IT initiatives and standards in close cooperation with the Cosma Europe plants
• Lead of process definition and standardization with Operations and IT managers of the plants
• Analyze best practices in the industry and drive for continuous innovation
• Continuous communication between operations leaders of the business units and Global IT to constantly drive business process optimization

Key Qualifications/Requirements

• completed degree in computer science, technology or equivalent or comparable professional training
• well-founded, several years of professional experience in the manufacturing IT environment incl. project experience; ideally in the international environment of the automotive industry
• enjoy working in a global company, which is coupled with willingness to travel within Europe and flexible commitment
• very good and applicable knowledge in SAP, MES and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
• strong implementation skills of successful projects in a decentralized business environment
• demonstrated skills in motivating others, especially operational managers and production employees
• interest in topics concerning the optimization and digitalization of processes as well as interface optimization
• careful, systematic-structured and independent way of working
• fluently speaking and writing in English
• distinct communication skills
