Senior Project Manager, Ethics (m/f/d)

Role Summary

The Senior Project Manager, Ethics will be a key member of the global Ethics & Legal Compliance Department. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage various global projects in close cooperation with other team members, provide support relating to compliance initiatives in Central and Eastern Europe (the "region"), assist with the development of global training, and deliver compliance training in the region. This position can be located in Vienna (Austria), Sailauf (Germany) or Liberec (Czech Republic).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful planning and implementation of all projects
  • Independently roll-out change management projects such as system builds, training development, etc.
  • Serve as the regional lead for Magna's Ethics and Legal Compliance Program in the region including delivering virtual and in-person compliance training, and providing guidance to the executive team, managers and employees
  • Provide support to the Purchasing Department on compliance due diligence for suppliers and third parties in the region
  • Develop regional initiatives to address new regulatory developments or specific regional risks
  • Review all translations in your native and fluently spoken languages for all compliance resources including training materials, corporate policies, procedures and other materials such that materials are comprehensible to employees that region
  • Perform organizational and administrative tasks as required
  • Frequent travel within Europe may be required

Knowledge and Education

  • University degree or equivalent expected

Work Experience

  • 10+ years of practical experience in a corporate environment, preferably a multinational company

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written Czech, English and German. Additional European languages are an asset.
  • Proven project management experience; strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines
  • Sound understanding of adult training and education
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor your message to your target audience and communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively
  • Pragmatic, self-starter with strong analytical skills to identify core issues and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
  • Ability to build solid relationships and to influence across a diverse group of businesspeople with a wide array of professional backgrounds, including executive management
  • Advanced user of Microsoft products (e.g. MS Office, TEAMs, SharePoint, MS Project)

Additonal Information

The annual remuneration package for this position is a minimum of EUR 70.000,-. We offer attractive benefits (e.g. employee profit participation program) and a salary which is in line with market conditions depending on your skills and experience.
