eCommerce Analyst (m/w/d)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic eCommerce Analyst who is passionate about analyzing large data sets by using a diverse set of digital analytic tools. In this position you will transfer raw data into measurable and impactful insights to support and facilitate data-driven decision making and actively contribute to setting the strategy for eSales channel and overarching eCommerce platforms. As a member of the eCommerce & Digital Engineering Team you will work closely with different stakeholders on HQ level as well as our international subsidiaries.

Your tasks:

  • Understand, challenge, combine, analyse as well as interpret complex sets of data
  • Define a relevant set of key metrics and create, initiate, and manage a process of monitoring and reporting to identify and understand trends and behaviours driving actionable steps to grow eCommerce performance
  • Create sales data forecasting for eSales Channels to drive key business decisions
  • Create deep-dive analyses to interpret and understand data behaviour and developments to generate a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour and support strategic actions
  • Execute ad-hoc analyses and proactively identify data-driven opportunities to discover deeper insights and make recommendations for improvements in the digital consumer journey and shopping experience
  • Make data and insights available to stakeholders by creating reports and dashboards

Your profile:

  • University degree with a focus on data analysis as well as 3+ years of work experience in similar positions
  • Analytical and numerically capable mindset, reasoning and thinking in a hypotheses led way
  • Experience in handling and processing complex and large data sets of varied sources
  • Advanced experience and proficiency in eCommerce /Digital analytics and with (web) analytics tools (f.e. Google Analytics, Profitero)
  • Experience with data visualization & communication via interactive dashboards (f.e. Power BI)
  • Experience in techniques like consumer journey analytics as well as forecasting
  • Excellent written and verbal German and English skills as well as professional use of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
