Batch Services DEVELOPER (f/m)

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of technical designs based on technical requirements
• Development and maintenance of programs in superior quality in PL/1, Java and C
• Consulting and support of our customers, insurance companies worldwide, in terms of implementation of our core insurance software (Allianz Business System)
• Work on transforming of the PL/1 Batch Services to Java

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in Informatics (TU, FH) or equivalent qualification within the field of development
• Continuous effort to contribute the change from PL/1 to Java
• Experience with relational databases
• Basic knowledge of the operating system Linux (Perl and Shell scripting)
• Experience in technical documentation of applications
• Maintenance of batch services under Linux
• Very good English skills (C1), German skills are of advantage

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Start date: as soon as possible I Regular working hours: 38.5 I Usual place of work: Vienna Gross salary: EUR 50.000 p.a. (a higher salary could be considered depending on the specific qualifications)
