Senior IT Solution Manager - Finance/HR & Legal (m/f/d)

The Senior IT Solution Manager for Finance/HR & Legal functions, will report functionally to the Head of Business Partner and support the Business functions of INNIO Jenbach. This role will be responsible for providing overall IT strategic direction, program execution, and operational excellence aligned with strategic imperatives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Connect the dots through business Stakeholder's eyes with a keen ability to sift through the clutter of data: Articulate the business strategy and alignment of prioritized IT initiatives to achieve faster, more efficient and measurable outcome
  • Comprehend IT needs of functional areas in all detail to be able to advise on needs in terms of hardware, software and infrastructure. Develop and execute IT strategies to enable growth and productivity
  • Apply strong consulting, facilitation and negotiation experience (preferably with external customers)
  • Support the executive level in verbal and written business communication in non-IT lingo
  • Be the advocate digitalization, push to apply digital technologies to minimize effort / maximize output
  • Provide vision and direction to the broader IT Business Services team. Plan and prioritize feature backlog within the team of business partners and transparently communicate back to business stakeholders
  • Drive a common digital strategy, ensure ownership on data, system and processes
  • Create the strategic roadmap and co-ordinate work of several parallel teams to deliver on higher level outcomes. Owning the responsibility for transparent delivery and maximizing returns
  • Own the lifecycle, TCO and license management of legacy functional applications (60+ apps)
  • Ongoing benefit review, trigger relevant activities to consolidate, retire, cloud migration - be an active IT owner with a focus on continuous simplification


  • Bachelor or master's degree in engineering, software, mathematics or equivalent
  • Very strong working experience in a related function
  • Consulting/design/solution architect experience in one or more pillar IT applications (ERP, CRM, MES)
  • Clear business process thinking and understanding of end-to-end business flows skills, able to translate business requirements into IT solutions and technical issues into business terms
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Strong background on finance process and organization
  • Detailed ERP knowledge, reporting requirements & build
  • Ability to conduct business in English
  • Legal work authorization to work in Austria is required (Non-EU-citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.439,42 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
