Job description

In your job you will:

  • Develop analog/mixed-signal circuit concepts
  • Design & verify analog/mixed-signal ICs from product definition till mass production
  • Closely cooperate with product definition, layout-, lab-, test- and quality engineers
  • Support IC validation

Profile

Your specialty is the combination of working accurately and maintaining high quality standards. Furthermore, you are convincing by the fact that you merge high level IC flow knowledge, strong communication skills and hands-on mentality. As a team player, you set the direction in your field of expertise and are able to establish successful cooperations in cross-functional teams.

You are best equipped for this job if you have:

  • A university/university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or comparable
  • 6+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design and verification in the area of power management
  • Considerable block-level IC design experience and good understanding of analog/mixed-signal design flows (" e.g. Cadence, Synopsys, etc.)
  • Good top-level IC design and integration experience is appreciated
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the entire IC development flow
  • Understanding of high voltage CMOS and/or BCD technologies and/or knowledge in the area of power applications (e.g. DC-DC converters, inverters, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of semiconductor physics is appreciated
  • Fluent English skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
