We are looking for an experienced and talented E-Mail Marketing Manager to join our Corporate Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Team, based in Salzburg, Austria.

E-Mail Marketing Manager (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

Drive e-mail marketing planning and execution across Europe:

  • Manage the customer email strategy, design campaigns that are aligned to customer segments, and ensures email content is aligned to appropriate stages in the customer's journey
  • Work with Commercial Marketing teams to develop and execute integrated email campaigns that achieve business and sales objectives; ensure creative and messaging is correct and cohesive across all digital marketing channels
  • Execute audience segmentation strategies and performs content/offer testing to optimize email campaigns
  • Measure and report performance of all email marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs); adjust and execute changes to strategy based on results
  • Develop regular incrementality testing strategies to ensure highly optimized and valuable programs
  • Maintain email database and distribution lists in accordance with business strategy; ensure compliance with country-specific email marketing and data legislation
  • Act as power user for the standard email and marketing automation tool (currently Oracle Eloqua); develop deep knowledge, advise team on advances in technology, and train others in its use

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or related field
  • At least 3+ years of experience driving email marketing programs, media execution and analysis preferably for fast paced retail or financial services companies
  • Experience in B2B and B2C direct response scenarios
  • Familiarity with insource/outsource models and agency management practices
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of email marketing and automation platforms, especially Adobe Eloqua, is a must
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce and digital media
  • Knowledge of site analytics software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) and tag management
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven strategy development
  • Outstanding results orientation
  • Cross-industry subject matter expertise
  • Ability to collaborate and to influence decisions at every level in the organization
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 min.) and German (B1 min.); another European language (i.e. Spanish, French or Italian) is a plus
  • Curiosity and ability to learn
