European Academy of Neurology (EAN), the leading organisation for excellence in neurology in Europe and beyond, is looking for a full-time

Research Project Assistant

in Vienna, Austria.

Provide support to the EAN researchers, EAN Scientific Committee and Guideline Production Group in gathering and analysing data

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out research according to protocols laid out by primary researchers
  • Collect and log data
  • Conduct statistical analyses of data sets
  • Prepare graphs and spreadsheets to portray results
  • Create presentation slides and posters to help researchers present findings
  • Review print and online resources to gather information
  • Check facts, proofread, and edit research documents to ensure accuracy
  • Provide support to the EAN researchers in gathering and analysing data
  • Assist the Project manager and relevant working group in fixed-term projects that are clearly defined with regard to content (action plan, time-lines, reporting, etc.) and budget
  • Creation, dissemination and analysis of surveys
  • Collection and statistical analysis of data

Necessary Qualifications & skills:

  • Bachelor level or HAK/HTL
  • Perfect knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Research experience
  • Organisational, administrative and IT skills
  • Perfect knowledge of MS office (Excel) and other data management tools
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritise and work under set deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and in an international team
  • Willing to travel occasionally
