LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA) EXPERT (m/w/d)

Arbeitsort: Greiner AG, Kremsmünster | Wien

Beschäftigungsausmaß: Vollzeit

Reisetätigkeit: 10-20%

Berufserfahrung: Several years of work experience

Eintrittsdatum: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection, development and implementation of methods for the identification and assessment of environmental impacts of plastic and foam products (life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) methodology and impact categories)
  • Conduct life cycle assessments (LCA) for Greiner products and their applications
  • Support product management and product development teams in creating more sustainable products
  • Assist key account management with customer inquiries about the environmental impact of products
  • Develop company-wide LCA know-how through cross-divisional workshops and trainings
  • Track current developments in the LCA methodology

Requirements

  • Science-related or technical degree (FH / University)
  • Position requires several years of experience in the field of life cycle assessment and material flow analysis
  • Must have a solid understanding of environmental life cycle analysis and associated tools and systems (e.g. Gabi), as well as excellent MS Excel knowledge
  • Enthusiasm for ecological-technical issues
  • Ability to work with extensive data sets and complex contexts
  • Enjoy sharing knowledge
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Independent way of working and well organised
  • Knowledge in the field of plastics / foam technology is an advantage
  • Very good English skills (German is considered a plus)

For this role a salary ranging from EUR 50.000,- gross p.a. will be offered with willingness to overpayment depending on your work experience.
