Job description

Test Development Engineers play a key role in Infineon's products. It takes technical skills and accuracy plus a great deal of team work to get the job done.

In your new job you will:

• Analyse internal customer requirements and perform feasibility studies
• Define and develop test packages (Software/Hardware) for automotive sensor products in close cooperation with the IC design team
• Plan, run and coordinate test projects
• Develop innovative testing methods
• Verify the performance of new test equipment
• Ensure result interpretation and documentation

During an individual training phase we prepare you optimally for your new tasks. With regular feedback discussions and planning of your professional and personal development we ensure your success in this position.T

This job is suitable for full time and part time.

Profile

You are best equipped for this job if you have:

• University degree (Master) in electronics, computer science, automation or equivalent
• Professional experience is a plus, such as mixed signal IC testing on automated test equipment, magnetic stimuli circuit design
• Experience with high performance measurement equipment is a plus
• Programming skills e.g. VBA, C++, Matlab
• Experience or skills in data analysis, statistical methods and tools
• Fluent English communication skills, German skills are desired

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
