Scrum Master (m/f/d) - for Advertising and Data Technologies


JOB TYPE: permanent, full-time


We are looking for a Scrum Master with great communication skills who will work as a team player and a self-starter. The ideal candidate should bring two or more years of experience to the team and would work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products.

Be a part of a team that is developing and managing Sportradar's digital advertising technology group setup. Within the self-organized, agile software development team you play an active role in developing Sportradar's technical foundation in advertising technology and in developing new, advertising based business models for Sportradar.


  • Develop a radically new product based on advertising technology in one of the fastest growing businesses in the intersection between media and sports
  • Ship new products and services quickly from concept to launch
  • As scrum master you ensure daily stand ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, end of sprint demos and stakeholder updates
  • Take on responsibility and play an active role in shaping Sportradar's advertising strategy and help building up a radically new business model
  • Be a facilitator and coach, a conflict navigator and mentor
  • Support the Product Owner with respect to refining and maintaining the product backlog


  • 1-3 years experience leading complex, cross-functional product squads
  • Experience building strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
  • Proven experience and ability to successfully collaborate with multiple technical functions in the areas of infrastructure, technical operations, release management, and software engineering
  • Experience working in a Cloud environment
  • Fluent in English
  • The ability to recognize and help to resolve team conflicts and impediments
  • Tact, diplomacy and cooperation skills
  • An attentive and empathetic nature
  • Knowledge of best practices that help the team to reach a sprint goal
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian Toolset like Jira and Confluence is a plus
  • Scrum Master certification is an advantage

For this position we offer an attractive salary in line with the market. For legal reasons we are obligated to state the minimum salary of EUR 27.015 gross/year according to the CBA. However, you can expect a salary from EUR 50,000 gross/year if you meet our requirements (based on a full-time employment). Depending on your qualifications and experience, an overpayment can be offered.
