Technical & Development Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and implementation of ITIL processes for application change management
  • Optimization and automatization of release and deployment pipeline
  • Software configuration management
  • Rollout and documentation of releases and deployments
  • Maintaining our various databases on live, testing & deveveloping
  • Application monitoring and incident management
  • Maintaining our Linux (virtual) server infrastructure and our firewalls & load balancers

Your Qualification

  • Higher Technical School (HTL), Bachelor´s/Master´s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience is a plus
  • 3-5 years of DevOps experience and/or infrastructure management and experience in e-commerce is an advantage
  • Knowledge in CI/CD Tools (Maven, Bamboo, Git, Bitbucket and Artifactory), basic programming and scripting skills (Java is a plus, Shell, Python, …)
  • Advanced in Linux systems, Basic database skills (SQL) and familiarity with the concept of Change Management (ITIL)
  • Knowledge in application & infrastructure monitoring (APM Tools like NewRelic / Appdynamics and Splunk)
  • Server automation/orchestration with Ansible and an ffinity for agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) and familiarity with the concept of Change Management (ITIL)
  • Analytical, conceptional thinking within a technical environment with an independent, collaborative and proactive working style
  • Adaptable, flexible, and willingness to embrace change as needed with a strong initiative and dedication to quality
  • Hands-on mentality and an international mindset, engaged team player with a strong customer focus
