With immediate effect, we are seeking a highly motivated and creative computational biologist to join the group of Christian Haslinger as a PostDoc within the Global Computational Biology and Digital Sciences department at Boehringer Ingelheim RCV.
Your research will focus on functional genomics in the context of cancer research. More specifically, you will analyze state-of-the-art CRISPR screens (e.g. drug-anchored screens, dual guide screening designs, single-cell-based CRISPR screens) as part of an interdisciplinary environment. Your objective includes the discovery of genetic interactions in a complex disease background. Independent consultation and incorporation of large publically available data sets will be a vital aspect of your research. The final scope of your work is to deepen our current understanding of cancer genomics and to decipher potential targets for drug treatment. The advertised position is part of the global Boehringer Ingelheim Postdoc Program and we encourage applications from individuals with a strong interest in cancer research.

For this position we offer an interesting salary package considering your expertise and personal competencies as well as your professional experience. We are obliged by law to state the minimum salary according to the collective agreement, which amounts to EUR 46,525.22 gross per year (full-time) for this position, whereby an overpayment is possible.
