Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Design RF power amplifier modules and circuits for 5G wireless infrastructure applications
  • Translate RF front ends system level specifications into design requirements
  • Guide chip and module floor planning
  • Support product characterization by analyzing component verification measurement and testing results
  • Understand and propose optimizations of customer applications

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics with knowledge in semiconductor physics
  • 5+ years of experience in RF product development and characterization
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in RF power amplifier design, knowledge of Doherty PAs design is a plus
  • System understanding of 4G/5G RF front ends and relevant standards
  • Experience with most common software for RF design and EM simulation (e.g. Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, Ansys Designer and HFSS)
  • Fluent English language skills, German is a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
