We are currently looking for an ambitious and flexible Engineering Project Lead Drives for our site in Vienna, Austria.

The Engineering Project Lead delivers the objectives of the engineering related part of the bid/contract for small to medium scale, low to medium complex projects. He/She leads the Engineering Core Team for all assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets, scope and to the required quality and establishes proper governance to ensure proper risk assessment and mitigation. Additionally, he/she will directly support the design engineers and yearly review the engineering certification relevant design processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the engineering project team, responsible for the project related KPIs, prepare Engineering relevant reports e.g. the Project Dashboards and the ENG/EDV Cockpit.
  • Responsible for clarification and definition of the interface specifications.
  • Perform the engineering design reviews and ensures 100% completion in time.
  • Direct design engineering support.
  • Project planning, processes improvement, standardisation, quality.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Work experience in Engineering or Project Management regarding Project execution
  • Work experience in project assignments of min. 2 years
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Knowledge of planning tools, like Primavera P6 (preferred), or MS Project, and standard MS business suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.047,37/ month (14 x) for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
