To strengthen our sales team we are looking for one

Sales Support Specialist (m/f)

Substitution for maternity leave for a period of 1,5 years (part-time work optional/extension of period possible)

Position purpose

To coordinate sales support efforts in the EME region between sales, dealers and production. This position will accept orders from dealers/customers, coordinate the appropriate financial approvals, production scheduling and logistics in order to meet customer expectations. This position will be important to the customer experience and managing customer expectations.

This position coordinates the process from quote request till order placement in the systems (ERP/CRM) and finally until the invoice is placed to the customer.

This role has close communication next to sales with finance, manufacturing and logistics.

Key activities for this function are the following:

  • Main contact for local Plant's customer services activities with dealers.
  • Cross functional cooperation with sales, After-sales and production.
  • Provide voice of customer for product needs and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and changing accounts, creating contacts and new accounts
  • Maintaining relationship and creating "product pull" by direct marketing products and services to end customers.
  • Support generation of visit reports, prepare / analyze questionnaires, support to make customer history in CRM (SalesForce) visible.
  • Supporting Dealer and Dealer Sales manager and Sales divisions to place opportunities in CRM (SalesForce) and orders in the ERP, track them
  • Preparing quotes in proper layout
  • Supporting Sales divisions, Dealer and Dealer Sales Manager; providing pricing on unique product configurations. Applying applicable program discounts and negotiation additional discounts when necessary, some technical acumen is necessary
  • Following up the authorization and anti-corruption process for Quotes, supporting with 3rd party information
  • Data entry in local ERP's, coordination with the customer, supplier and plant(s) on scheduling, Maintain compliance on credit worthiness and margin thresholds.
  • Export documentation when needed
  • Forwarding Aftersales requests to the Aftersales team

Minimum Qualifications (if applicable include physical requirements to comply with ADA)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or related field, HTL (Industrial engineering or 5 years of experience on a similar position)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience at similar job supporting Order Processing
  • Prior experience with ERP system and SalesForce is advantage Experience within AGCO Grain & Protein or a competitor a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and clearly communicate both verbally and written in English and German languages.

The remuneration corresponds to the respective classification according to the collective agreement of industrial employees. The fixed minimum gross annual salary for the full-time position is EUR 40.000,-- There is a willingness to overpay depending on the training and experience background.
