Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Provide technical guidance and technical after sales support to customers - in alignment with field application engineers (FAE)
  • Evaluate and verify product features related to customer requirements
  • Be responsible for the application roadmap and provide crucial input to the definition of the product roadmap
  • Compile technical presentations used for product promotions and trainings to FAEs, customers or distributors
  • Build relationship with internal peers (e.g. in Product Marketing, Quality Management, Sales) as well as with external stakeholders worldwide (e.g. customers and business partners)


You demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks. Moreover, you have a sense for business opportunities and feel comfortable working in a dynamic environment. To master your job, you are able to quickly establish a successful multi-disciplinary cooperation and appreciate the contributions of other people.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in in the field of Electronic Engineering, Physics or related field of study
  • Gained at least 6 years of relevant professional experience with strong background in industrial automation and/or isolated couplers - including PCB layout, prototyping, circuit technology, troubleshooting and verification
  • A good understanding of analog mixed signal use cases in that application field
  • Profound knowledge of application-level and component-level industrial standards and norms, e.g. IEC 61131, UL1577, VDE 0884
  • A high self-motivation in your job with a result-oriented and resilient personality
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in dealing with customers and motivation to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent English and ideally German language skills

We are filling this through one of our partners with an initially limited contract until December 2021. A valid work permit for Austria or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H ( A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
