ALM & Treasury Liquidity Management Intern (m/f/d)


Job Summary

Do you have a demonstrable interest in gaining practical job experience within the banking sector regarding ALM & Treasury Liquidity Management and/or are you studying in the fields of Business Management, Banking or Accounting?

You will be supporting the unit in ensuring that operational and organizational tasks are performed on time. You will learn how to structure and analyze data in different sources and learn how to correctly assist with the reports. As an intern you will also support new initiatives, new guidelines and actively support coordination with other departments in the whole Group. Furthermore, all ad hoc tasks are a key part of the day-to-day job.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the liquidity risk management process with operational and organizational tasks
  • Collecting data from internal sources and controlling it in the reporting tools
  • Supporting with aggregation of regular liquidity reports, summaries, presentations and ratios
  • Organizing ALCO meetings and preparing reports for ALCO
  • Supporting by Group Liquidity Contingency Regulation
  • Creating and executing liquidity reports in visual basic/SQL
  • Review and update of relevant documentation, assistance in implementation of Group guidelines to local banks

Your Profile

  • Active student at university or business school with relevant specialization in finance, banking or accounting
  • Basic understanding of the treasury products of a bank
  • Basic knowledge of the Treasury and Asset liability management or CRR/CRD4 is a big plus
  • Strong excel skills, knowledge of visual basic is a big plus
  • Very good command of English any CEE language is a plus
  • Flexible, open minded and team oriented personality
  • Responsible and organized person with a built-up sense for urgency and punctuality
