Job description

We are offering students the possibility to be a part of the chip design process by supporting testing and validation of new semiconductor solutions.

In this internship you get in touch with:

  • State of the Art Equipment like automated test systems (ATE), sources, mutlimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. test could be done manually or automated; automation is done in VBA/C++
  • Post-processing of measurement data to be able to present the data to the design team
  • Support the review of the results with the design team together with the responsible Test Engineer
  • Documentation of the test setup, results etc.
  • Support the Design & Product Engineering Team in their daily tasks
  • Setup and testing of test boards (soldering and small mechanical reworks)
  • Manage Engineering Samples and logistics (shipment to colleagues in Munich and/or US)

Further information:
Duration: Temporary / part-time (minimum 15 hours per week or more)
Starting date: Summer 2020

Profile


As our ideal candidate, you offer additionally:

  • Studying Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or similar
  • Basic knowledge in using lab equipment
  • Knowledge in using programming languages (like C/C++ and/or VBA)
  • German language preferred, Good English skills
  • Communicative person with independent working style

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. Bachelor students receive a compensation of 1.885,-- Euro gross p.m. (Full-time basis for Bachelor students) and Master students receive a compensation of 2.210,-- Euro gross p.m. (Full time basis for Master students)
