Project Controller (m/f/d)

In this position you are part of our Autonomous Driving Platform Development (ADPD) team, which consists currently of more than 180 engineers in three different locations. You are responsible for keeping the project plans of our projects and agile initiatives on track by balancing scope, time and costs. With your strong project management skills and business know how, you act as one of the main interfaces to our project managers. You will also collaborate with our Project Management Office to define, live and advance our standards and indicators for a transparent project controlling in a modern and scaled agile development setup. As a Project Controller in the automotive industry, you work closely with our experts and get to explore the unique entrepreneurial mindset of our company. Your Tasks

  • Comprehensive and professional project planning and controlling as well as ongoing reporting to the management
  • Build a project plan and keep track of scope, time and budget of ADPD projects
  • Look into project work breakdown down structure in JIRA and sum up the detailed estimations to the big picture using automation tools such as Structure for JIRA
  • Handle internal project requests within ADPD
  • Build used cases, gaining experience and knowhow in this specific field and finding best practice solutions in this specific field
  • Report and work closely with Chief Product Owner, Release train Engineer and the Auto PMO following the standards and procedures given by the PMO
  • Create PM Metrics and keep track

Your Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management and Project Controlling
  • At least 2 years of experience within (scaled) agile development setups
  • University degree in an economic field of study with strong controlling focus
  • Experience in JIRA is an advantage
  • Know-how in Industrial and/or Automotive Software Development Processes are an advantage
  • Passion for technology, commercial understanding, strategic thinking, negotiating skills and excellent communication skills
  • Proactive attitude to work, flexibility and self-motivation
  • Very good command of English, German is a plus

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40.000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
