Specialist Regulatory Affairs (m/f/d)

for medical gases / reference number: 10/2020

Central Sales Function "Medical, Pharma & Food Gases" forms the central hub within the Messer Group, from where the development of the Group-wide medical business and the corresponding regulatory affairs get supported and directed. Our products are medical and pharma gases, food gases, breathing gases and plant protection products.

Due to the constant increase of the customers' needs for regulated products and the development of regulations in this field of activity our team needs further assistance for the following tasks:

Your responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of applications for new authorizations for products
  • Preparation and submission of variations of existing authorizations
  • Pharmacovigilance for medicinal products (as a deputy)
  • Vigilance for medical devices (as a deputy)

Your skills:

You have a university degree in life sciences, medical/healthcare or engineering and multiannual job experience in and knowledge of EU regulatory processes, quality systems and GMP for medicinal products and medical devices. Furthermore you are:

  • experienced in interacting with competent authorities and notified bodies
  • able to gain and apply knowledge of EU regulatory processes for plant protection products
  • an analytical thinker and capable to critically interpret regulations and/or standards
  • skilled in documentation (record maintenance and document traceability), detail-oriented and able to multi-task/prioritize well
  • able to work in a cross-functional project team environment, with good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • proficient in MS Office
  • fluent in English verbal and written communication, good German skills desirable
  • willing to travel internationally (about 25%)
