Marketing Manager - Abrasives (m/f/x)

Location: Villach, Austria
Reports to: Abrasives VP RAC

Role:

Support of the marketing team's strategy and execution to optimize revenue, contribution, customer service and technical support throughout the designated entity

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare in particular sales variance analysis in terms of volume, pricing and product mix, and ensure consistency with reported variances.
  • Create and implement appropriate dashboards to support marketing teams
  • Ensure customers needs and markets are identified and anticipated
  • Implement and support a forecast tool, and collaborate with supply chain to update regularly
  • Dashboards: revenues/volumes/pricing/backlog and forecast
  • Analyze marketing intelligence and define segment strategy
  • Responsible for Marketing Mix
  • Drive innovation effort
  • Support commercial and business development effort
  • Responsible for driving communication effort
  • Identify market and technical trends impacting segment

Competencies & Experiences:

  • Deep technical and market understanding of Abrasive application (needs, production process, market structure,performance)
  • Strong business sense and ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds and levels
  • Strategic mind, hands-on, result-oriented, good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to positively influence others w/o direct reporting lines
  • Knowledge of Abrasives Market required
  • German would be a plus

Success Indicators:

  • Improved product offering
  • Clear value proposition for all products for Abrasive segment
  • Well positioned sales prices
  • Improved profitability (customer/product)

Minimum yearly gross remuneration from EUR 60.000 p.a. upwards - overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience.
