Just finished your studies and looking for an exciting job opportunity? We're currently offering a temporary Junior Controller position (m/f/d) within our Corporate Controlling department. As Junior Controller you will support the Area Controller in all aspects of Controlling, like monthly reporting, business planning & forecasting, and build strong relationships with the other Controlling & Headquarter Teams. In this key Finance function you will act as a specialist in all reporting- and IT-systems, looking for constant improvement opportunities and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Furthermore you share insights and new ideas, as well as analyzing and highlighting risks and opportunities.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:


Manage the overall Planning Process

Support the finance teams during planning process

Ensure timely submission of Business Plan/Revised Estimates

Analyze plan submissions (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPIs)

Ensure the reconciliation of our systems

Check the quality of planning and make suggestions for improvement

Perform the FX calculation for all Subbrands


Analyze submissions (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and KPIs)

Check the quality of reporting packages on errors, consistency and plausibility

Prepare and consolidate a standard monthly reporting package


Continuous enhancement & improvement of standard reporting package for planning and Month End Closing

Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations based on request

Develop new tools and reports

Act as sparring partner internally with focus on best practice and act as an interface to HQ counterparts

Ensure internal alignment on controlling guidelines, reporting standards, etc.

Active involvement in new and existing finance projects


Ensure full compliance with the Group Controlling and Reporting guideline

Act as quality gateway for all Master Data requests and as a specialist in reporting- and IT-systems

Support Area Controller in all operational areas

Build strong relationships with AFM controllers, DQM and Corporate Controllers

Share best practices, insights and ideas, as well as highlighting risks and opportunities


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Gained first working experience (internships) in Finance/ Controlling
  • Analytical thinker with strong business acumen and IT literacy
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge (Excel), familiarity with integrated business analysis tools (SAP BI/ HYPERION/ Smartview) as a strong plus
  • High level of finance knowledge (Controlling and Accounting)
  • Ability to quickly identify and analyze causalities, risks and impacts
  • Structured and well organized working style
  • High level of engagement, self-directed person, team-player
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial and result-oriented thinking, flexibility to quickly adapt in fast-paced environment
  • University Degree in Business Administration or similar (minimum Bachelor)
  • Very good English skills, knowledge of German is a plus

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1821 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
