AGRANA Fruit is part of the AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG, operating at 28 production sites on 5 continents worldwide. We are the global market leader in the production of fruit preparations and offer customized solutions to the dairy as well as to the bakery, food service and ice cream industries.

We are a great and young team, based in Vienna, looking for a motivated intern with passion for Quality Management to join us in the following position:

Internship Food Safety & Quality Management

Duration: 6 months, Full-time (with the possibility of an extension)
During your internship, you will gain insight into all areas of daily work in food safety and quality management of raw materials. We offer you the opportunity to take part in the following challenges in a responsible and partially independent manner.

Tasks:

  • Take part and support the Head of Regulatory Affairs & Quality System Global Procurement in day-to-day activities
  • You will get familiar with group-specific processes and problems in food safety and quality management
  • General support in regulatory activities (e.g. contaminants, etc.)
  • Review and update GPO Food safety management documents (quality documentation vs. ISO requirements)
  • Support and follow-up in corrective action database
  • Assist in maintenance of Quality System Management in the new Sharepoint
  • Collaboration with the Material Master Data Management team in SAP for the processing of additional documents for AGRANA Fruit Europe
  • You will collaborate in the creation and further development of additional AFS quality documents for suppliers

Requirements:

  • Ongoing or completed studies in Natural Sciences (Nutritional science, Food technology, Safety in the food chain,…)
  • Passion and interest in food safety and quality management
  • Understand the mission of a quality department, recognize the interrelationships with the other departments and act accordingly
  • Accuracy and reliability in organizational tasks and interface optimization
  • Independent, structured and proactive working style
  • MS Office skills, SAP and Sharepoint knowledge is an additional asset
  • You are an open-minded personality and you like to be involved in an international, culturally diverse environment
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite, any other language is an advantage
