For our Headquarter located in Vienna we are looking for a

Group Communication Manager (w/m)

Your duties & responsibilities:

The Communications Manager is a key member of the Constantia Flexibles Marketing team, translating the company and marketing strategy into a communication strategy and respective activities, and is in close exchange with various stakeholders of the company and external agencies.

Strategy development and execution

  • In close cooperation with the marketing team, develop a communication strategy with a 360° action plan (with strong focus on digital / social media)
  • Manage the budget for activities (allocating, tracking)
  • Implement activities involving the marketing team

External communication activities

  • Be the owner of all press activities
  • Manage crisis communication (hot line to CEO)
  • Prepare speeches and communication for the executive committee Manage press contacts
  • Monitor media activity (own and competition)

Internal communication

  • Prepare internal announcements (e.g. CEO, HR)
  • Manage intranet & Cflex website for content, in cooperation with the marketing team

Events management

  • Take leadership of various internal events
  • With the support of the team, ensure outstanding execution to the smallest detail
  • Host the events

Trade fairs

  • Be the owner of major Consumer and Pharma trade fairs
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and with other stakeholders (e.g. sales) in execution


  • Completed higher education in Journalism/ Public Relations / Marketing / Communications or equivalent or relevant practical experiences
  • Proficiency in English and German (ability to write professional texts in both languages)
  • Ability to handle crisis communication
  • Social media affinity

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position, in an international company (medium to large with > 5000 employees, preferable B2B market)

Practical experience in:

  • Managing various stakeholders incl. executive management level
  • Building up a communication department/strategy from scratch
  • Influencing others without direct reporting lines
  • Media relationship management
  • Hosting events and Campaigns
  • Trade fair management
  • Proven skills in creating internal/ external communications for e.g. press releases, announcements and for social media, etc.

The minimum annual gross salary according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement amounts to EUR 52.090,36 plus overpayment (for full time). The overpayment depends on the qualifications of the jobholder.

Working hours: Full time (38.5h)
