Lean Transformation Expert (m/f/d)

In this position as part of the Lean Transformation team, the focus is on using expertise and methods to analyze the current situation and help the team to shape the strategic plan further, collaborating with local plants across europe, incorporating multiple functional areas to successfully implement Lean Management methods.

Your Tasks

  • Support the analyzing of the current lean culture as well as the operative processes with focus on production organization, identification of weak points, development and implementation of suitable improvement measures according to Lean Management methods
  • Organization and implementation Lean Management Training of the Blackbelts and Greenbelts as well as coaching of operational managers
  • Support the creation and optimization of value streams and production layouts for optimal material flow in production and support in the application of the methods and tools defined in the production system
  • Coordination, support and management of the development of set-up concepts and set-up optimization (Single-Minute Exchange of Die)
  • Moderation of Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) and problem-solving workshops to increase quality and efficiency in production
  • Further development of 5S and regular 5S Audits
  • Coordination and preparation of CIP training for staff and management

Your Profile

  • Completed technical or commercial education, university degree in engineering or economics (alternatively significant experience in the industry)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in implementing and rolling out Lean Management methods in a manufacturing company in the European market
  • Experience as member of a Lean Transformation initiative
  • Expert knowledge about 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Visual Management, OEE, 7 types of waste, LA3, SMED, standardized working methods and how to train them
  • Excellent communication and change management skills
  • Affinity to numbers, digitization and software application
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
  • High willingness to travel (Europe-wide, at least 50% of the time)
