Corporate Development Manager (m/f/d)

In this challenging function you will be responsible for the execution of Merger & Acquisition projects including to conduct valuations, negotiations and the due diligence process as well as other strategic initiatives. If you have solid knowledge of M&A projects combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and working in an international, fast-paced work environment with different stakeholders motivates you, then come and join us!

Your Tasks

  • Work with business units to identify areas of M&A or strategic partnerships and develop build/partner/buy analysis
  • Conduct market research and financial analysis to support the team in evaluating potential acquisitions, investments and other strategic growth opportunities
  • Support in creating strategic plans (e.g. business plans/cases, market entry strategies, etc.) for the further internationalization of the company
  • Drafting of board memos and presentations to management as part of transactions and strategic reviews
  • Support in the portfolio management in various processes

Your Profile

  • Completed University degree - preferred in Business Administration or Finance (or equivalent) with focus on corporate finance and/or controlling
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking or in an auditing firm
  • Knowledge in analyzing financial statements, conducting business research and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated quantitative ability
  • Team player including in highly flexible team structures
  • Flexible and self-driven working attitude
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English & German

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
