What are we looking for:

  • evaluation of investment projects, in close cooperation with paper mills, finance and technical director of the BU
  • develop further investment reporting & controlling in the BU
  • participation in project work to continuously improve workflows, tools and management reporting
  • support the UFP controlling team with preparing and analysing month end closing, forecasts and budgets of the BU
  • performance of ad-hoc analyses required by the business
  • contribution to specific finance projects - in the business unit and/or in the mills: eg digitalization initiatives, automization of existing reporting, benchmarking projects between various papermills, further improving/automizing margin calculations in close cooperation with sales&marketing team
  • meeting reporting deadlines and assure high quality standards in line with all relevant reporting/closing standards


  • solid economic background and understanding of cost accounting and financial mathematics
  • strong Excel skills
  • technical interest advantageous
  • experience in Hyperion & SAP advantageous
  • full command within the disciplines of modern controlling and reporting
  • Excellent command of English, any other language is an advantage
  • Economic Education (Business University Degree) with Finance Specialisation
  • 3-4 years working experience in a similar position, ideally gained in an international environment
  • strong conceptual and analytical skills
  • proactive approach towards information sourcing and solution driven personality
  • high level of self-motivation and strong team spirit
  • independent way of working

Immediate start date

Ref. Austrian "Bundes-Gleichbehandlungsgesetz": The position is subject to the Austrian collective agreement of the "Papierindustrie" with a legal minimum wage of EUR 36,212.26 gross/year on a full-time basis plus overpayment. The overpayment is determined by the qualification of the jobholder.
