In support of our existing team we are currently looking for:

User Experience Designer & Researcher (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Designing blueprints -- including wireframes, roadmaps, workflows, personas and scenarios -- of websites that have an enhanced customer experience and higher results on metrics such as conversion rates and customer engagement
  • Analyzing the audience, customer behavior and what things affect their decision-making, and then build around these key metrics (In a few words: you are a designer that solves problems)
  • Taking an active lead with regards to design (sketch, prototype, wireframe, interaction design plus usability tests); ultimately designing
  • Determining the most appropriate design research methodologies for optimal data generation, and develop user research plans, conduct research, and synthesize learning
  • Staying ahead of the latest design research techniques / methodologies, and marketing, experience design, user interface and technology trends
  • Applying methods from design thinking, customer-centered design, product design and service design
  • Planning and conducting workshops for idea generation and business alignment
  • Following the scrum masters' lead while going through the user stories
  • Sharing your input and challenging each action and the process based on expertise

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant degree from an accredited university
  • Solid relevant experience in User Experience and User Interface design
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • Expert in several of the tools in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experienced in interview and research facilitation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
  • Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model, to regularly deliver design solutions for approval
  • Be passionate about all things UX, as well as other areas of design & innovation, especially resolving user pain points through great design
  • Fluency in German and English

We offer an attractive salary, outstanding social benefits and an exciting work environment with varied tasks in an international environment. The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 46.700,-- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
