Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

  • Trademark Prosecution actions Europe & Americas: incl. Office Actions, Non-Use-Cancellation- and Invalidation Actions
  • Active & Passive Trademark Litigation Actions: incl. Claim Settlement, Co-Existence & IP Assignment Agreements
  • Legal Advice, Regional Marketing Cooperation, Brand Management Team & E-Branding Projects, incl. offline Processes
  • Key Account Management Support, Brand Partner Agreements, Marketing License Agreements, Co-Branding, Cooperation Projects
  • Legal Advice & Support Application Center
  • Know How Protection Strategy incl. JDA, NDA, NPA, Know How Cooperation and R&D Agreements & IP Assignment Projects

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • 6 + years' experience in intellectual property prosecution and litigation cases globally (focus on Europe and Americas) as Inhouse Counsel or Lawyer in lawfirm
  • Considerable experience in intellectual property law with focus on Trademark-, Copyright-, Advertising-, Unfair competition law
  • Corporate and Contract law at international level
  • Bar Exam, legal university degree
  • Strong English and basic German language skills a must
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
  • Intercultural sensitivity and ability to work in a team & autonomously deliver project
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness

The annual gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 80.000,- with a willingness to overpay - depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system.
