Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental strategies for our non-food commodity groups
  • Consolidate environmental management activities in textiles related to our detox commitment and transfer learnings to other supply chains
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support the integration of CR criteria into relevant processes
  • Ensure compliance with environmental requirements along our supply chains
  • Support the development of a holistic environmental supplier evaluation and development programme aligned with our social compliance activites
  • Represent the ALDI SOUTH Group in sustainability initiatives and liaise with external stakeholders
  • Lead and develop the environmental compliance team

Your profile

  • Completed master's degree in environmental science or sustainability management
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in driving environmental or social compliance supply chain efforts
  • Familiar with certification schemes and auditing programs
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Enjoy leading and motivating a team
  • Hands on experience with use of the PC (especially Microsoft Office Tools)
  • Self-motivated with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to plan and execute mulitple initiatives with various stakeholders in parallel
