As International Gaming Athlete Manager (m/f/d) you´ll be a member of our Global Marketing team. You'll focus on gaming athletes and team tasks and hereby work closely with international athletes, major gaming teams, the International Athlete Department and country colleagues alike.
In this exciting role, you'll report to our Global Head of Gaming. You'll lead our global, long-term gaming athletes and team strategy focused on scouting, sponsorship, fulfilment, management and development of talents. In this role, you'll manage global assets yourself and oversee the global portfolio, closely working with our regional colleagues around the world to make sure our portfolio meets the global strategy and supports all athletes to our best capacity.
You'll lead the long-term execution of strategic partnerships with our athletes and teams, and get to work with the most inspiring teams, athletes and content creators out there, broadening the scopes of athlete marketing in esports and gaming. Moreover, you´ll support the Gaming Event Managers in the event-based coordination of athletes for both athlete project, and or other projects and campaigns which may involve athletes. You´ll maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of the esports and gaming industry, audiences, but especially athlete and team landscape.
Negotiate team agreements and contracts - including performance expectations and goals, bonus, branding rights, availability, schedule, and usage rights is part of your responsibilities. You'll partner with stakeholders across the Red Bull brand, media and marketing divisions to integrate our program holistically, as well as partner with our high-performance centre to drive the development of a gaming athlete performance program.
You'll constantly align with Red Bull countries regarding their local athlete portfolio and project initiatives. You'll make sure athletes are a valuable addition to our global portfolio and support countries in the whole process of scouting, onboarding and activating athletes throughout the year. Furthermore, you'll offer feedback to countries on project and activation ideas and enable their regional initiatives. In addition, you'll make sure that country entries on our internal database are done and accurate.
You'll work and align with colleagues from various departments to make sure our athletes are fully activated and have the opportunity to benefit from all Red Bull can offer. You'll keep internal databases up to date and make sure our portfolio is well positioned internally.
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1643 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
