In our Consumer Foods division we are global market leader in supplying integrated equipment for chocolate, bakery, biscuit, wafer and confectionery industries. Around 60% of all chocolate in the world is produced with our technology. At our site in Leobendorf, north of Vienna, we are now looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager.

Tasks

  • Reporting to the head of HR for our global Consumer Foods division you assume accountability for all aspects of HR for our site in Leobendorf with around 650 employees. Furthermore, you are a key member of the business unit Wafer management team.
  • Based on the business strategy you define and implement short- and long-term HR priorities, integrating requirements of the global Bühler group and our Consumer Foods division.
  • You provide guidance and leadership to the local HR team consisting of 7 people including payroll. With a clear focus on efficiency you review and improve operational HR processes, operating models and systems.
  • Together with your team you establish a modern people development mindset based on a strong performance management approach.
  • You provide coaching to leaders in terms of leadership and all people-related topics. As trusted point of contact for employees you support their development and solve issues.
  • You drive the yearly high potential and succession process and coach leaders in selecting appropriate development measures based on clear targets.
  • With your expertise you ensure that all processes and tools are in line with local legislation and Bühler policies. To that end, you build professional working relationships with the works council and design/negotiate required agreements.
  • In close cooperation with Finance you create personnel plans and ensure integration in budgets and forecasts. Based on these plans you lead key recruitment processes and ensure that all positions are filled in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • You ensure that performance issues and employee exits are managed in a fair and transparent way by coaching leaders and HR team members in that regard.

Required qualifications

  • Master's degree in economics, business administration or comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with independently managing the full employee life cycle.
  • Proven competence in Austrian labor law and experience with creating agreements ("Betriebsvereinbarungen").
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills, both in German and in English.
  • Proven leadership skills, not necessarily in a line management function but also in projects or in a matrix environment.
  • High competence with MS Office, knowledge of SAP and other systems is of advantage.

Remuneration

We offer a salary of EUR 80,000 gross/year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualification and experience, an overpayment is possible.
