As International Category Manager (m/f/d), you´ll be an integral part in building, developing and maintaining credible, long term, category led relationships with Red Bull's retail partners globally. In addition, you´ll serve as subject matter expert regionally, leveraging both category insights and expertise to identify opportunities for our teams to grow both Red Bull and category sales.

In this role, you´ll strategically develop customer and market category management business plans that integrate with overall business goals. You´ll guide execution of Red Bull category management functional resources to provide leading edge category management solutions. Moreover, you´ll turn insights into actions by executing, analysing and evaluating category plans. To utilize knowledge of market, customer and Category Management to facilitate the customer business planning process and lead that dialogue across the organization is part of your role.

As International Category Manager, you´ll bring to life our global category vision for functional drinks with international customers and local markets.


You´ll establish and maintain a partnership with Trade Marketing Managers, Key Account Managers and Retail Partners in the development of strategic plans for category management and provide leading edge category management solutions.

Furthermore, you´ll identify key opportunities for Red Bull and educate local teams on how to capitalize on these opportunities.

In addition, you´ll provide strategic direction to local teams and implement category development programs by leading the dialogue to focus on category growth opportunities is part of your responsibilities.

To maximize growth of both the Category and of Red Bull, you´ll work closely with Area Commercial and Marketing Teams, as well as International Key Accounts.


You´ll lead category engagement with leading retailers across multiple markets. Moreover, you´ll develop and facilitate top-to-top meetings with key retailers.


In this role, you´ll work with Global and Local Trade Marketing teams to facilitate and further develop and refine Red Bull's globally leading Category Management training programs.


You´ll campion knowledge sharing and create an environment to share best practices and category updates.


One of your key responsibilities will be to actively build a team of sales athletes by empowering team members and supporting personal as well as professional development.


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing or Sales in a customer facing role
  • Extensive knowledge in working with data (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, Aztec)
  • In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry; ideally experience in food & beverage
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of Planogram software (e.g. JDA)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw the insights from multiple data sources and complex sets of data to provide useful, actionable tools that are clear, meaningful and delivered in a timely manner
  • Strong project management and planning competencies
  • Excellent communication skills to express analytics to various levels in the organization as well to deliver presentations and training
  • Innovative, self-motivated, solution-oriented mindset with problem solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Bachelor´s or Master´s Degree
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
  • Travel up to: 50%

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1859 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
