The Financial Process Development team provides SAP BW integrated planning- and reporting solutions for the whole organization.

To strengthen our headquarter team we're looking for an ambitious Business Analyst (m/f/d). Embedded in a project team together with business departments and IT you'll drive the finance reporting and planning roadmap to guarantee continuous improvement and further development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

DEVELOP SYSTEM BASED CONCEPTS AND PROCESSES

Collect, analyze and document planning requirements from different finance/controlling departments for new reporting and planning solutions in the area of P&L, COGS, balance sheet, cash flow and quantity of goods

Act as translator between business and IT and transform the requirements with focus on high quality into detailed, system-based concepts, which can be used as basis for technical implementations

As sparring partner, you discuss and align these concepts and processes with all stakeholders on business and IT side

TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION

Guarantee high quality implementations by setting up efficient testing concepts and processes

Conduct testing initiatives and quality assurance. Provide training, documentation and final handover to the data quality team.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Define work packages and project plans in close alignment with IT

Follow up on the achievement of milestones during project phases and make sure that deadlines are met. Set the right priorities and communicate pro-actively with all involved parties, identify bottlenecks and find alternatives to remove roadblocks.

Prepare the cut over plan for go-live together with the data quality team, business and IT

Provide 2nd level support for newly developed solutions

That matter most for this role:

• Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in business analysis or with project involvement, ideally gained as Controller or Business Consultant
• Solid controlling or accounting background and excellent understanding of financial processes with an affinity to technical solutions is desired
• Profound business knowledge of system-based planning solutions and processes - ideally SAP-BW, SAP BI-IP Planning, Design Studio, Dashboard, knowledge of SAP ERP or Hyperion would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
• Advanced level of Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
• Ability to understand complex processes, identify risks and find solutions
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
• Team player, self-motivated, goal-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, IT or HAK degree with appropriate work experience
• Excellent command of English, knowledge of German is a plus
• Travel up to: 10%

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 1643 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
