Nature and aim of the position

The holder of the position will be responsible for supporting the current TFS Merchant Engagement team primarily:

  • Product Management: Tour Group Management support, understanding the needs, developing and rolling out the current available solution to merchants & markets with the strong support and guidance of the Product Manager for Department Stores.
  • Go-to Market: Support and Project Management for the roll-out of In-store Solution features, peripherals and related projects.

Main duties and responsibilities

Product Management:

  • Establish and maintain an efficient product development process by identifying key merchant needs, define and develop new products;
  • Leverage & gather local best practices to update the Tour Group Product offering. Package them in a way they can become standard features of the product offer and roll them to all relevant markets. This could include regular visits to the markets for introduction and or working sessions with the local teams;
  • Coordinate across teams to gather stakeholder insights and collaboration to support the end to end life-cycle of a product, from design to market roll out;

Go-to Market:

  • Communication on new product/feature: Project manage and lead successful product launch by organizing and mobilizing the different business units within the company after pilot and POC managed by VP Merchant Engagement or TFS Product Manager.
  • Build expertise on In-store Solutions and roll-outs.
  • Track business KPIs and ongoing performance of the different products.

Reporting and collaboration

The holder of the position reports solid-line to the VP Merchant Engagement.
The holder of this position works closely with the Technical Product TFS Team, the Operations Team, the Technology Team, and Commercial teams in the Markets.

Key competencies

The holder of this position must have:

  • Outstanding ability to create presentations. Knows how to create appealing marketing content and use innovative presentation tools in addition to be an advanced PowerPoint user.
  • Interpersonal skills and good ability to communicate effectively across cultures, functions and a diverse customer audience.
  • Fluent and assertive in spoken and written English (mother tongue preferred), other languages would be a plus: French, German, or Spanish.

Preferable skills and competencies

The holder of this position must have:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in similar positions. Prior project management, business analyst or product management skills.
  • Organisational skills with ability to prioritize.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to focus and executing while meeting deadlines.

As required by Austrian federal law we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual compensation according to the respective Austrian collective agreement for this position, which amounts to EUR35.174,30.
