Accounting Supervisor - Vienna, Austria

Better is enabled by trust and respect

You will be in charge of tax and local GAAP compliance duties. This includes the preparation of local financial statements across a number of countries in Europe. You will be the lead for accounting processes delivered by our accounting service centre. You will provide regulatory reporting across the various banking supervision authorities that we operate in.

You will have to be a strong communicator, who can drive performance in a matrix organization across several countries. You will be a qualified accountant with experience in financial services and Austrian GAAP knowledge. VAT experience in particular is of interest to us for this role. You are not necessarily required to be fluent in German, but it would be an advantage. Western Union is an agile organization that constantly evaluates how we do business.
