The Marketing & Communications Office at Modul University Vienna is looking for a:

Digital Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

Fulltime, 40h/w

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a digital content plan for MU's online platforms.
  • Develop audience specific communications for social media, website, email marketing, paid digital ads and occasional print materials.
  • Assist in developing a digital content strategy and customer journey for each academic year.
  • Proactively create content for all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Create ties with all university departments in order to generate news and digital content.
  • Work with external advertising or creative agencies when required.
  • Respond to information requests via instant messenger platforms.
  • Update university website pages when necessary using the CMS (TYPO3)
  • Explore ways to improve the MU digital brand and pre-application experience online.

Your profile

  • University degree in a related field or strong track record in digital marketing.
  • Excellent or native level English. Knowledge of German is desirable.
  • 2+ years' experience in content production, social media and email marketing.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, especially related to content management.
  • Experience developing content plans and/or customer journeys.
  • Work independently as well as in an international team.
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously without loss of quality.
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to remain positive even if things get busy.
  • Proficiency in some or all of the following:
  • Microsoft tools including Microsoft 365
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Email marketing tools such as MailChimp or Clickdimensions
  • Web editing tools such as TYPO3

We offer a gross monthly salary starting from EUR 2,400 (14 times per year) on a full-time basis. Depending on experience and qualifications there is a willingness for overpayment.
