Organization:
- In our department as part of Secure Transactions & Identification we develop ultralow power RFID solutions for many different applications worldwide.
Independent of the frequency (HF, UHF) our products are recognized as leading contactless applications used for public transport, inventory and supply chain management, consumer embedded electronics, brand protection and NFC tags.

Successful products like MIFARE Classic, NTAG, ICODE or UCODE are part of the product portfolio developed within our department.

Responsibilities:

  • First experience or knowledge in RF System Engineering for driving RF System concepts & solutions in the area of HF and UHF validation systems
  • Definition and execution of application tests with readers and smart phones
  • Validation and qualification of contactless systems according ISO15693/ISO18000 (EPC Global)
  • Contactless compliance test methods and test setups
  • Documentation and interpretation of measurement results
  • Support for project team

Profile:

  • Technical University, FH
  • Understanding of RF communication systems
  • First experience in operating lab equipment
  • Beneficial, but not a must: Knowledge of ISO15693, EPC Global/ISO18000, ISO14443
  • Beneficial, but not a must: Knowledge of modulation techniques and coding
  • Desirable Software Skills: LabVIEW, Excel, C#, Eagle
  • Well organized and accurate working style
  • Good documentation skills
  • Team player eager to develop best in class products
  • Language Skills: English and/or German

NXP offers competitive compensation. Due to Austrian law we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role this amounts to EUR 45.000 gross.
Depending on experience and education higher remuneration is possible. Moreover, we provide attractive benefits to our employees.
