Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Define new, leading-edge power devices addressing both application and market needs
  • Verify and evaluate engineering devices during the development process
  • Interact with multiple parts of the organization on site and worldwide (e.g. Development, Quality Management, Marketing)
  • Provide product support (e.g. fighting guides, test benches for product comparisons)
  • Act as Interface to the customers enabling the regional organization to ensure design-ins and design-wins

Profile

You drive your tasks with engagement, passion and proactiveness. You are personally committed to the customer's concerns, awarding them a high priority and addressing them in our development projects. Your strong communication skills and teamplayer mindset support you in your work within interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or comparable
  • At least 3 years of experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Background in power devices, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) or motor drives
  • Experience with Electrical Simulation Software (e.g. Simetrix/Simplis, Orcad Pspice, ...) will be an advantage
  • Fluent English skills with German skills as a plus

We are filling this position through one of our partners. A valid work permit for Austria or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. Our partner offers a payment of at least EUR 3.279,05 (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
