ANDRITZ is an international technology group providing plants, systems, equipment, and services for various industries. The company is one of the technology and global market leaders in the hydropower business, the pulp and paper industry, the metal working and steel industries, and in solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial segments. Other important fields of business are animal feed and biomass pelleting.

Your Tasks

  • Technical Lead of a global distributed development team.
  • Develop software for a global application within the digitalization initiative of ANDRITZ on senior level.
  • Define a sustainable software architecture and technical road map
  • Elaborate concepts and solutions together with our globally distributed users, the group IT department and other business units
  • Contribute to agile and developer driven culture and environment
  • Constant improvement of the continuous integration process
  • Technical coaching as well as mentoring of your team members
  • Give and receive thoughtful feedback for proposed code changes to improve the code quality and encourage knowledge sharing

Your Profile

  • College or University degree in computer science or a relevant subject
  • Several years of professional experience as a software engineer / solution architect / technical lead.
  • Excellent knowhow in modern frontend frameworks, APIs, database technologies and query languages (Angular, Node.JS, ASP.Net, SQL/NoSQL)
  • Programming skills in state-of the art languages (C#, TypeScript) and knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience in test automation and CI infrastructures as well as management systems (Azure, Jenkins, Git)
  • First-hand experience of the intense collaboration in an agile software development team
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Willing to travel (occasional, domestic and abroad)

Our Offer

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce for this position at least a gross monthly salary of
EUR 3.301,13.

Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
