THE JOB WITH THE BEST STANDARD EQUIPMENT

As a Specialist for Functional Safety (FuSa), you are working in our Engineering Center in Graz in the area Complete Vehicle. Prior knowledge of ISO26262, ISO21448 or the development, verification & validation of mechatronic functions is required.

Your Tasks

  • Management of Functional Safety (FuSa) in development projects on the component, system and complete vehicle level
  • Collaboration and coordination with all engineering areas to implement a systematic requirement definition and validation process, taking into account ISO26262 and ISO21448
  • Ensuring ISO 26262 compliant product development, when performing hazard analyzes, risk evaluation and documentation, deriveing safety goals, and creating warning and degradation concepts
  • Creation, Coordination and Management of the safety plan in development projects
  • Coordination, planning and alignment of the necessary FuSa activities in the concept and series development phase as well as alignment with production and suppliers
  • Development of functional concepts and functional safety concepts together with the item owners
  • Development of technical concepts and technical security concepts together with the item owners and component responsibles
  • Coordination of reviews of FuSa artefacts (e.g., item definition, hazard and risk assessment, safety case, etc.) and audits to achieve FuSa release recommendations

Your Profile

  • Minimum qualification: Technical Education (FH, TU) - Mechatronics, Electrical / Electronics, Telematics, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering
  • Practical experience in troubleshooting mechatronic vehicle functions
  • High affinity to (automotive) mechatronics
  • Moderation and presentation skills
  • Social skills, commitment, resilience and flexibility, communication and motivation skills
  • Profound knowledge of spoken and written English
  • FMEA knowledge advantageous

For this position the yearly gross salary is starting at EUR 46.200,- depending on specific work experience an overpayment is applicable.
