For our ambitious and fast-growing team with headquarters in Vienna, Austria, we are looking for a

Hardware Engineer (f/m/d)

Full-time, as soon as possible

Your tasks:

  • Development of wearable neurostimulation devices for long term use on patients
  • Independent elaboration of hardware concepts, designing and dimensioning of schematics including PCB design
  • Embedded software development
  • Mechanical design of stimulation electrodes, wires and wearable housings
  • Preparation of test and validation specifications
  • Oversee manufacturing and production of new hardware, including development of operational prototypes, to verify compliance with design plans, performance requirements, test and validation specifications
  • Maintenance of the technical documentation for our product portfolio according to relevant guidelines in close collaboration with the quality assurance team
  • Conceptual design of test equipment for electronic assemblies
  • Support the technology transfer to contract manufacturing organizations
  • Clearly convey information and status of projects to key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Coordinate with developers, project managers, engineering teams and quality assurance personnel during development, testing and external production

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering (HTL, FH, TU)
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing electronic devices, ideally for medical devices
  • Programming skills for embedded software development and signal processing (C, C++, Matlab, Python, …)
  • Excellent skills in CAD software (Altium, CATIA, SolidEdge, …)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Solution-oriented and analytical thinking to design complex systems
  • Strong communication and reporting skills - written and verbal
  • Diligent and independent working skills with organizational talent
  • Enthusiastic and inquiring team player with a high degree of flexibility
