Conversions, Modifications & Upgrades and Transactional Sales Specialist (m/f)

The scope of this sales position includes direct customer contact together with the distributors, identify the service products with the highest potential for each country, create offers and drive the offers together with the distributor to closure.
As Conversions, Modifications & Upgrades (CM&U) and Transactional Sales Specialist you will work with internal stakeholders and external channel partners on development and implementation of an orders strategy for aftermarket upgrades resulting in demand creation, pipeline development and orders intake to meet stated regional goals.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Encompass ownership for CM&U and TX orders of the INNIO Jenbacher power generation aftermarket for the META & SA
  • Achieving and exceeding Services transactional orders target
  • Coordinate activities with local Service Sales Managers and CSM Managers
  • Grow business through Installed Base event forecast working closely with Marketing and Product Line
  • Technical support to Customers/ Channel Partners / Service Sales Managers to drive orders increase in the Region.
  • Negotiate and conclude agreements within the respective DOA
  • Hand-over to OTR (if applicable)
  • Develop, coordinate and conduct growth activities for the region
  • Operational responsibility for orders, margins and other relevant business metrics
  • Support competitive and customer analysis

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Business or related discipline
  • Several years of professional technical experience with Gas engines.
  • Experience working in international Power Generation market and with aftermarket service sales
  • Ability to multi task and manage various activities simultaneously
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Basic commercial skills and interested to learn in this area
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to travel ~50%

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3301,31 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.

This is a LPB Position.
