Senior Associate Sales & Marketing Effectiveness (SME) m/f

This position is available as full time position as well as part time (min 30hrs/week), based in Vienna


As Senior Associate SME you are supporting the fields of Customer Relationship Management, Sales Operations, Business Planning & Analysis and Supply Management. In this role you are the backbone of SME operations and do partner intensively with a variety of internal stakeholders (such as business units, product managers, district managers, key account managers and sales reps), to provide decision support based on your analyses and insights.


  • Analyses, updates and maintains data and creates meaningful insights and dashboards
  • Ensures that reporting needs are met
  • Provides ongoing technical and system support and general training to system users
  • Prepares and submits forecasts conform to agreed planning and analyses processes
  • Builds Amgen's capability in market analysis and planning
  • Ensures supply for the Austrian market (Supply Management)

Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in economics/Business or Natural Sciences
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry)
  • Analytical thinker with ability to formulate and develop market analyses and business forecasts
  • Excellent Excel knowledge; Advanced MS Office User
  • Any experience with Tableau, CRM tools (Veeva/Salesforce), Hyperion, SQL and/or Macros/VBA is an advantage
  • Well-motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in (cross functional) teams and build effective partnerships
  • Fluency in German and English (both in oral and written)

We offer an annual minimum base pay of EUR 48.000 gross/per year (All-In) and attractive benefits (e.g. flexible working hours, bonus payment, pension plan, lunch allowance …). The final compensation package will depend on your qualification and experience.
