We're looking for an expert Project Manager to support the extension of our existing Shared Service Center (SSC) Organization. This is an exceptional opportunity, contributing to PALFINGER's steady international growth by supporting the further bundling and centralization of administrative processes. The SSC Project Manager drives and supports the implementation of leaner and more efficient structures within administrative functions with the aim to reduce complexity and increase efficiency.


  • Plan, manage and lead the Shared Services detailed design
  • Establish and track project planning, budget and project outcomes
  • Identify, understand and effectively manage milestones and dependencies across multiple stakeholders ensuring clear accountabilities and shared understanding of impact
  • Prepare and recommend guiding principles / direction for SSC delivery model (sourcing, delivery locations, governance & interaction model, transition approach etc.)
  • Manage the execution of the SSC detailed design with all relevant key activities, milestones and outcomes in the areas of SSC set-up, SSC Service Management and SSC Migration Planning
  • Manage required alignment activities with the program and other SSC initiatives within the company with ensuring stakeholder alignment
  • Prepare management, board meetings and Steering Committees for SSC detailed design as basis for decision making


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, operations/supply chain/engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience in the field of finance
  • Excellent project manager and communicator with change management experience
  • Experienced in analysis and solving of complex problems
  • Ability to define, design and implement process improvement solutions to meet established organization performance goals
  • Ability to establish KPIs and SLAs for a SSC organization
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills in German and English
  • Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 46.215,82 p.a. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
