Currently Webster Vienna Private University is looking for an organized, customer and goal oriented team member to join the Admissions office.

Admissions Officer (f/m/d)

(Full time: 40h/week)

Ideal starting date: as soon as possible

Reporting to the Head of Admissions, the Admissions Officer manages the pool of and maintains relationships with prospective students throughout the entire application process from initial inquiry to an admission decision thereby helping to maximize the conversion rates from recruited to admitted students.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as point person for admissions criteria and procedures as defined by WVPU management;
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with prospective students;
  • Meet with prospective students and their families, agents as well as school counselors and conduct campus tours;
  • Prepare complete student files for handover to student advisors;
  • Regularly update and maintain all relevant database entries for prospective students in the university's customer management system;
  • Represent WVPU at local recruiting and related events;
  • Liaise with Webster St. Louis and other international campuses as needed;
  • Participate in all New Student Orientation sessions as needed;
  • Manage and maintain oversight over admissions leads from various portals and events.

Education & Skills:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills, German and/or other language skills are an asset;
  • At least one-year experience in the educational industry;
  • Familiarity with ERP and database management systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Service- und customer oriented personality;
  • An independent, goal- and detail-oriented multitasker who is able to work in teams and a multicultural environment.

As required by Austrian federal law we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross compensation for this position, which amounts to 32,000.- EUR (40 hours/week); the final salary depending on your relevant experience and qualification.

A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position.
